As we continue to move forward to excel in everything we do, we have also realized the importance of safety culture in our organization and in the bunkering industry as a whole.
Organisational Safety
Safety at work is best achieved if our basic attitude is prioritized towards the importance of safety. The increasing requirements for the safety of oil products and transportation, both on land and at sea, point towards a rising awareness of the abeyant threats facing our environment. At Mid Asia Bulk, we follow the best safety practices in all our operations, and we just do not compromise on safety.
Environmental Safety
Marpol 73/78 is the international convention for the prevention of pollution from ships, 1973 as modified by the Protocol of 1978. It was designed to minimize pollution of the seas, including dumping, oil, and exhaust pollution. Its stated object is to preserve the marine environment through the complete elimination of pollution by oil and other harmful substances and the minimization of accidental discharge of such substances. In recognition of all these concrete efforts to save & protect our environment, Mid Asia Bulk fully commits itself to comply fully with the regulations and contribute towards our global environment.
Accidental Spillage
One of the key issues of Annex I of the MARPOL convention is the prevention of accidental spills. With reference to these issues, Mid Asia Bulk conducts safety inspections at regular intervals of all hoses, pumps, tanks, and all operational equipment and ensures a complete guarantee to prevent any spillages while bunkering.
